Black Bean Burger (Big Mac Style)

Before people ask why you vegans like to make food that reminds us of what we don’t eat, all I have to say is take one bite of this sandwich and you will understand. So much flavor, great texture, satisfying, and reminds you of a classic burger with ingredients you can stand by. For all my people that are staying away from bread, I love to enjoy this black bean patty wrapped between lettuce and it is fire. Shopping List 

Black Bean Patty Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of black beans
  • 1/2 cup of cooked wild rice
  • 2 Tbsp of Dales
  • 2 tsp of steak seasoning
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped red bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup of sautéed and chopped onions
  • 3 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup of oats blended into powder (Save some money)
  • 3 tbsp of avocado oil
  • 1/2 cup of water

Other ingredients:

  • Bread or lettuce wraps
  • Thousand Island sauce or sauce of choice
  • Chopped pickles
  • Microgreens

• • Plant-based cheese

Directions

  • Cooking Method: Cook beans in a pan dry pan until they crack and dry out, then mash some of them.
  • Patty Preparation: Mix all ingredients, form patties, and cook in a pan with avocado oil for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Serving Suggestion: Build a sandwich with the cooked patties and enjoy.
